On Good Friday. 14th April 1876, the Royal Choral Society gave its first performance of Handel's Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall starting an annual tradition that continues today, interrupted only by the Blitz in 1940-41 and the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020-21.  Hearing the spine tingling choruses of the UK's favourite choral work performed live by voices and full orchestra in the magnificent surroundings of London's famous concert hall is an unmatchable experience. 

This performance will be conducted by the Royal Choral Society's Music Director Richard Cooke, and the choir will be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with a quartet of superb soloists.

The dazzling world of PT Barnum, where ambition and imagination know no bounds. 
West End favourite and TV star Lee Mead will take centre stage as the legendary 19th century showman PT Barnum. Lee shot to stardom with his breakout win on Any Dream Will Do and acclaimed performances in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Wicked and Legally Blonde. 
This spectacular production features actor-musicians, acrobats and amazing circus acts. Barnum first took the UK by storm when it played the London Palladium with MIchael Crawford making theatrical history with a death-defying nightly tightrope walk across the stage. And now, Lee Mead steps into Barnum's shoes and on to the tightrope!

The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are putting on a 1920’s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong…does!  The accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!
